It provides 24-hour accident coverage, including eligible incidents occurring inside or outside school, subject to geographical and activity exclusions.
The Standard Insurance Student Protect bundles multi-layered medical, cash, and indemnity protections to mitigate financial stress when accidents happen:
Accidental Death Benefit: Pays out up to the full policy limit to the student’s designated beneficiaries if accidental injuries lead to loss of life within 180 days of the incident.
Permanent Total Disablement: Provides the applicable benefit when a covered accidental injury results in qualifying Permanent Total Disablement, as defined in the policy.
Unprovoked Murder & Assault: Provides the applicable benefit for eligible death or disablement resulting from unprovoked murder or assault, subject to policy definitions and exclusions.
